Lesson 5: What its a Real Estate Syndication?
In today's video we're gonna talk about what is a syndication? It's a big word, probably heard it tossed around a lot, but a syndication is a temporary professional services alliance form for the purpose of handling a large transaction that would be hard or impossible for the parties involved to handle individually.
So kind of what that means is, you know, you've got a bunch of people that get together to go after a larger deal. So for real estate, it's generally a partnership between a general partner who's kind of the active investor and the limited partners who are your passive investors. And they do this to acquire, manage, and sell commercial real estate, and most importantly, to share in the profits.
