Today, our guest is Dan Kennedy. Dan knew from an early age that he wanted to be involved in real estate. He played professional soccer and used the money he made from it to invest in single-family homes.
Dan went to business school at the USC Marshall School of Business in 2016. He learned about syndications and met his now business partner, Matt Shamus. He started investing as an LP because he had young kids, studied and worked full time, and operated single-family homes. Then, as Dan and Matt wrapped up business school, they sold all their single-family units and started Driven Capital Partners. They continue to scale their business based on relationships and trust.
